Are you saying that the routing in your sendmail is using *your* ftn
address, or your uplink's ftn address. My address is 3:633/252. My
uplink, the one specified in my routing, is 3:633/260.

No, I'm actually using 8.8.7 too. So the the switches should be
compatible, yes!?

Anyways, I'll give these suggestions a try now, using my uplinks address
in the routing and sendmail.cw files and let you know how I go.
