One last question (yeah, right!:-)...

I'm using smail and have configured my system according to the example in
the ifmail misc/smail subdir. I can receive netmail properly in my setup but
when sending outgoing netmail I get the following error:

Date: Mon, 7 Jul 1997 23:57:32 -0400 (EDT)

[the rest cut out]

My mail transport line for ifmail in /etc/smail/transports is:
ifmail: from,received,max_addrs=5,max_chars=200,
driver=pipe;
pipe_as_sender,
cmd="/usr/lib/ifmail/ifmail -r$host $((${strip:user})$)"

Would anyone have any idea of what is causing this error and how I could
go about fixing this? If so, I'd greatly appreciate hearing your thoughts.
