Under Debian you setup sendmail with sendmailconfig. Then edit the custom
section of /etc/mail/sendmail.mc. Below is what I added to my
sendmail.mc:
## Custom configurations below (will be preserved)
MAILER(fido)dnl
MAILER(uucp)dnl
FEATURE(mailertable)dnl
I assume you have installed fnet.m4 into /usr/lib/sendmail.cf/mailer
Then you need to setup the mailertable. Below is my mailertable:
.fidonet.org fido:f245.n640.z3.fidonet.org
.katnet.ftn fido:f319.n100.z16.katnet.ftn
.ampr.org smtp:rama.ampr.org
. uucp-dom:troll
Once you have setup your table in /etc. Execute this command:
makemap hash mailertable < mailertable
After this you just run sendmailconfig again and answer yes to the
following question:
Configure sendmail with the existing /etc/mail/sendmail.mc? [Y]
This will compile a suitable sendmail.cf for sendmail.
Hope you fine this helpful enough.
Cheers
